Northern Arizona Sees Record-Setting Snowfall

Snow continued to descend on Flagstaff, Arizona, after a new daily snowfall record was set in the region on Sunday, January 15, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

The NWS reported that 14.8 inches of snowfall on Sunday broke the old record of 8.9 inches in 1978.

Footage captured by Twitter user @Az49erGirl shows snow descending on an already snow-covered road and snow-capped trees in Flagstaff, Arizona, on January 16.
