TicketSmarter Stadium at Future Legends Sports Complex is under construction still and the Owlz and Hailstorm will start their home schedules at Northern Colorado.

The Northern Colorado Owlz minor league baseball team played its first-ever home game in Colorado Wednesday.

Due to ongoing construction, the Owlz won't be playing yet at the Future Legends Complex in Windsor.

The 6,500-seat stadium at the complex, called TicketSmarter Stadium, is still being built and the organization hasn't announced when it will be ready for play.

In the meantime, the Owlz and Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC soccer club will begin their home season at University of Northern Colorado facilities in Greeley.

Here's what to know about where and when they'll play.

Owlz host long home stretch

The Owlz, a non-MLB affiliate of the Pioneer League of rookie baseball, started the season with five road games. They went 0-5 and now return for a long stretch of games at home.

They'll play five more against the Vibes, with games each day through Monday. All games are at 4:05 p.m., except Sunday, which is at 1:05 p.m.

Hailstorm end long road debut

The Hailstorm, a member of USL League One, have had a memorable start as a franchise.

The team, which will also play at Future Legends Complex upon completion, have played nine games already this season. All have been away from home and included a shocking win over MLS side Real Salt Lake in the U.S. Open Cup.

The Hailstorm now have back-to-back home games approaching, with a June 8 matchup against North Carolina FC and a June 11 match against South Georgia.

Both will be played at 7 p.m. Like the Owlz, both will be at UNC, with the Hailstorm playing at Jackson Stadium (adjacent to Jackson Field) for the foreseeable future.
