Even better, many will be around for at least another year.

The coaches of the Big North Conference recently highlighted that talent within the league with its All-BNC boys basketball squads and Player of the Year selection.

Of the 10 first or second team selections, seven were underclassmen during the 2022-23 season.

Petoskey came away with four total honorees, including one each between the first and second teams.

Northmen senior Cade Trudeau led the group with a breakout senior campaign and earned first team recognition from the league.

A 6-foot-6 forward that can also run the fastbreak and knock down threes, Trudeau closed the year averaging 19 points a game, to go with 10 rebounds and 3.7 assists.
