Northside High sophomore pitcher McLane Moody commits to Arkansas baseball

Arkansas baseball will have a Fort Smith player on its future roster. Class of 2025 pitcher McLane Moody committed to the Razorbacks on Thursday.

The Northside High School product is listed at 6-foot-5, 180 pounds according to Prep Baseball Report. Per the same site, Moody’s fastball has topped out at about 91 miles per hour as he enters his sophomore year.

Before he returns to the baseball field this spring, though, he'll be fighting for a spot in the lineup for the football team at the quarterback spot.
