Northwestern High School artists build scenes with glass

Feb. 16—MAPLE — Students in Allison Melde's classroom at Northwestern High School turned colorful pieces of stained glass into everything from fused flowers to a wire-wrapped album cover.

Techniques included mosaic, fused and traditional panel work. Melde shared some of their unique creations.

Allison Melde is an art teacher at Northwestern High School.
