Northwestern Mutual– Jacksonville raises over $175K for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation

Jacksonville recently hosted its annual Lemon Ball event, which raised a total of $175,128 for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF). The event, which was attended by Co-Executive Director of ALSF, Liz Scott, aimed to support key areas such as early career research, research accelerators, and quality of life and care.

The Lemon Ball event is an annual fundraiser that Northwestern Mutual – Jacksonville hosts to raise money for the ALSF, a non-profit organization that aims to find cures for all children with cancer.

Through various fundraising activities, including auctions, raffles, and donations, the event successfully raised over $175K.

But that’s not all - in addition to supporting ALSF, Northwestern Mutual – Jacksonville also surprised the Kate Amato Foundation with a $25,000 grant to support the organization’s mission of finding safer, smarter, and more effective treatments for children with cancer. The foundation is dedicated to funding research that will help children suffering from cancer and their families.

The Lemon Ball event is just one of the many initiatives that Northwestern Mutual – Jacksonville has taken to support charitable organizations in the community.
