Norwalk Library events for September

Aug. 24—NORWALK — September events at the Norwalk Public Library:

Adult Craft Day on September 7th at 11:00 am: Create an autumnal centerpiece using maple leaves. Please bring a medium mixing bowl. Registration begins Wednesday, August 17th.

Podcast 101 on September 7th at 4:30 pm: For 4th through 8th grades. From planning to producing, learn all about podcasting as we record monthly episodes of NPL Talks. Registration begins Wednesday, August 17th.

StoryTime on September 8th, September 15th, September 22nd, and September 29th at 11:00 am: For ages 0-5. Listen to a selection of picture books and participate in educational activities. Registration is not required.

Music & Movement on September 9th and September 23rd at 11:00 am: For ages 2-5. Through song and dance, kids are encouraged to get silly and let that excess energy out. Registration is not required.

Beginner Genealogy on September 12th and September 19th at 5:30 pm: Join the Huron County Genealogy Society for a two-part workshop on discovering and documenting family history. Attendees will receive individualized instruction and the newest edition of Genealogy in Practice. Registration begins Monday, August 22nd.

Salt Painting on September 13th at 4:30 pm: For 1st through 5th grades. Experiment with salt and watercolors to paint a masterpiece. Registration began Tuesday, August 23rd.

Anime Club on September 14th at 3:30 pm: For 9th through 12th grades. Celebrate the best anime characters by making freestanding chibis and custom buttons. Registration is not required.

Dungeons & Dragons Club on September 17th at 11:00 am: For 6th through 12th grades. Embark on an epic quest with fellow adventurers. No experience necessary. Registration begins Saturday, August 27th. Note this campaign happens every other Saturday until October 29th.

Adult Craft Night on September 20th at 6:00 pm: Norwalk Garden Club hosts a garden- themed project. Registration begins Tuesday, August 30th.

1A Anime on September 21st at 4:30 pm: For 6th through 8th grades. Discuss popular shows while eating Pocky and watching the artist behind Willow & Roxas draw an anime coloring page live. Registration begins Wednesday, August 31st.

Pajama Party on September 26th at 6:30 pm: For families. Enjoy bedtime stories and craft a star night light. Don't forget to wear your comfy clothes and bring your favorite stuffed animal or blanket. Registration is not required.

DIY Phone Charms on September 28th at 3:30 pm: For 9th through 12th grades. Give your phone a little extra personality with DIY charms. Registration begins Wednesday, September 7th.
