This Is Not A Drill! In-N-Out Burger Is Finally Heading To The Southeast
We hope you're hungry Tennessee because by 2026, you could be sinking your teeth into a towering 4x4 burger (also known as the Quad Burger) while alternating between sips of a strawberry shake as you dine at your local In-N-Out Burger. That's right, the West Coast burger staple that is heading further East.
The exciting announcement comes just as the California-based chain prepares to celebrate a major milestone—its 75th anniversary.
“This expansion is significant for our Company,” Lynsi Snyder, In-N-Out owner and president, said in a statement. “For many years, we’ve heard requests from our Customers in Tennessee to consider opening locations near them, further east than we’ve ever been. Our Customers are our most important asset at In-N-Out, and we very much look forward to serving them in years to come, and becoming part of the wonderful communities in The Volunteer State.”
In addition to releasing a statement, In-N-Out also shared the news of its Tennessee expansion on Instagram. Since being shared earlier this week, the post has received well over 60,000 likes and thousands of comments.
One user applauded In-N-Out for staying "true to their word," writing "This is the greatest news! For years I have contacted In-N-Out about coming to TN. They have always promptly responded (real person, not robo reply) telling me that future long term expansion plans included TN. True to their word…In-N-Out is coming to TENNESSEE! Thank you In-N-Out!"
In addition to several restaurants throughout Tennessee, In-N-Out also plans to open an Eastern territory office in the city of Franklin.
If you're already hungry for a Double-Double with animal-style fries, three years may seem like a mighty long time. But in the meantime, those in Tennessee can still get their fix of In-N-Out by visiting one of their restaurants in California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Texas, Oregon, or Colorado.
