Not an FBI raid in North White Plains, but it was a TV shoot

Lights, camera, action! What appeared to be an FBI raid at the Townhouse Diner in North White Plains Friday morning was really a filming for a TV show.

The North Castle Town Clerk's office said the commotion at the restaurant was to film season 5 of the CBS drama FBI: Most Wanted. The show, created by Law & Order showrunner Dick Wolf, follows a team of agents part of FBI's New York Fugitive Task Force who chase down criminals on FBI's notorious Most Wanted List.

The show stars award winning actor Dylan McDermott, best known for appearing in the ABC legal drama The Practice from 1997 to 2004. Other actors of the show include Shantel VanSanten, Roxy Sternberg, Keisha Castle-Hughes and Edwin Hodge.

Crews for the show were also recently spotted at the Blue Hill complex in Orangeburg and on Franklin Avenue in Pearl River earlier in the week.

The CBS series was sited in a recent news release by Westchester County for filming regularly and extensively throughout Westchester when it had cast nominated for Primetime Emmy Awards. Westchester County Executive George Latimer noted last month that film production in Westchester is a $1.1 billion sector, making it "a driving force for investment."
