Philippe Bieler’s d’Aix-en-Provence rosé is definitely not your meemaw's white zin. This boujee bottle came from Provence, France, the most famous rosé-producing region in the world. It’s an amazing buy at $14.99.
Pour yourself a glass and enjoy the shower of strawberry cream aromas and delicate raspberry flavors. It’s an excellent food wine as most rosés tend to be. This wine would be perfect with your holiday ham as well as the traditional tom turkey. But for now, the weather outside is no longer frightful, and we’re all looking for the perfect patio pounder. Grab some goat Gouda cheese and a container of Castelvetrano olives from Mustard Seed Market. This will be the perfect pairing along with your favorite deck chair. Add a few slices of your favorite soppressata, and now you’ve got a party.
I did a thorough taste test of this wine. It was also super with grilled salmon and a spinach salad with a light raspberry vinaigrette. Great with a Buckeye roll from the Market District sushi counter. Even better with a carryout order of calamari from Russo’s Restaurant in Cuyahoga Falls. I could keep going on with the pairings, but you get the point.

I recently attended a spring wine show in Cleveland (after this column was written), where I got to sample many different rosés. There were a few good ones, and even one from Provence. However, none could capture the flavors and aromatics of the Bieler rosé.
Buy this wine at Cornerstone Market in Munroe Falls, Krieger’s Market in Cuyahoga Falls, both Mustard Seed Market locations, Beau’s Market in Copley, Market District in Cuyahoga Falls and Green, Giant Eagle in Stow on Norton Road, Fishers on Fulton, Vinifera Wine-to-Whiskey Restaurant and Bar in Cuyahoga Falls, and by the glass at Regency Wines in Fairlawn.
