Heavy rain and wind is expected to make a pass through Central Massachusetts Wednesday afternoon. Gusts could reach up to 50 mph, according to the National Weather Service. A wind advisory will be in effect from 1 p.m. Wednesday to 1 a.m Thursday. The sun will brighten things up Thursday, although heavy winds are expected.
