Yes. Capital Grille books up early. Also, Reata is filling up for the last Valentine’s before it will move in May.

From online reservation apps and websites, I’d say the best availability is at B&B Butchers. Caterina’s, Don Artemio, Ellerbe Fine Food, Piccolo Mondo or Quince. By phone, try Fitzgerald, Lili’s or Michaels Cuisine.

A Vietnamese version is featured on the menu at the My Lan restaurants, including one in Haltom City. The old Cantonese-style restaurants gave way to Hunan- and Sichuan-style dining 40 years ago, so chow mein is long gone from most menus.
