Part social satire and part mystery, it's a dramedy that you won't be able to look away from.

If you've heard anything about the hottest TV shows of Summer 2021, you've probably heard quite a bit about HBO's The White Lotus. A six-part limited series from writer/director/producer Mike White (who previously wrote The School of Rock and Orange County, along with the Laura Dern HBO series Enlightened), Lotus is a show that perfectly rides the dramedy line of social satire and can't-wait-to-see-what-happens-next tension.
The show's premise is simple enough: three distinct groups of wealthy visitors arrive at a Hawaiian resort called, you guessed it, The White Lotus. And the resort's employees (Murray Bartlett and Natasha Rothwell) are often the ones caught in the middle trying to keep everything in order. Those visitors are played by an incredibly perfect cast, including Jake Lacy, Alexandra Daddario, Jennifer Coolidge, Connie Britton, Steve Zahn, and more.
We don't want to say too much more and risk ruining anything. It's one of the year's best shows—picture Succession, with the tropical resort backdrop of Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and a tiny smidge of white collar Big Little Lies mystery. New White Lotus episodes debut on Sunday nights
There are only two episodes left, but new White Lotus episodes go live on HBO Max at the same time that they begin airing on HBO, the traditional channel: Sunday at 9 p.m.
So the next episode will be on Sunday, August 8th, and the finale will then air on Sunday, August 15th.
