Some people march to the beat of their own drumstick. These are the same people who won't be watching Super Bowl LVII, when the Philadelphia Eagles play the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.

These anti-Super Bowl folks need love, too. So we created some cool alternatives to the Super Bowl that this renegade community can indulge in.

Puppy Bowl XIX

Athletes in the Puppy Bowl XIX are tired of getting dogged out and want to show humans what they can do on the gridiron, too.

But don't get it twisted: The felines in the Kitty Half-Time show also have a chip on their shoulder. They're demanding the same level of respect that Rihanna's commanding for her halftime performance in this year's Super Bowl.

The Puppy Bowl is in its 19th year and will feature an epic clash between Team Ruff and Team Fluff as they compete for the Wayfair “Lombarky” trophy. The bowl is the original and longest-running call-to-adoption TV event, according to Discovery.

2 p.m. EST, Sunday, Feb. 12, on Discovery. For more info, visit discovery.com.

Great American Rescue Bowl

The new Great American Rescue Bowl will deliver cuteness overload with dogs, cats, puppies and kittens putting their skills on display in the name of pet adoption.

The Great American Rescue Bowl is similar to the Puppy Bowl, but it sounds like there will be more feline screen time for you cat lovers.

This inaugural event is a collaboration between the Great American Family Channel and North Shore Animal League America.

10:30 a.m. EST, Sunday, Feb. 12. For more info, visit greatamericanfamily.com.

Super Bowl protest party

So, you could care less about watching the Super Bowl, and you're not alone. Round up your crew of non-football fans and throw your own party.

Grab some pizza, wings, chips, drinks and go ham in celebration of rejecting the social norm of watching millionaires attempt to run pigskin inside of a rectangle.

Binge new shows

This is a good time to fall in love with a new show on Netflix, HBO or etc., while snacking on some nachos, popcorn or a panini.

Some fresh candidates include "The Last of Us" (HBO), "Poker Face" (Peacock) and "That '90s Show" (Netflix).

You can also use the time to catch up on some Oscar-nominated films before the awards are doled out.

Revisit 'The Last of Us' video game

Arguably the hottest show of 2023 is the post-apocalyptic drama "The Last of Us."

But not everyone has experienced the source material that inspired the show: the two video games.

You can get a better understanding of why the show became a hit by going on YouTube and bingeing all of the cut scenes from the first video game, which Naughty Dog originally released in 2013.

If you're really daring, you could also watch the cut scenes from the second game, "The Last of Us 2." Just bear in mind these games are pretty violent.

Crash a restaurant

After a long week, you can treat yourself to a good meal at one of your favorite restaurants or even a new one.

Super Bowl Sunday can be a great time to snag reservations and a good table at a place that often may be too crowded or sold out.

The caveat is it probably won't be a good idea to hit up a sports bar because they'll be packed with football fans. Also, consider trying a new dish because it'll make your dining experience more memorable.

Invest in yourself

It might seem funny that athletes are getting paid crazy money to play with pigskin. But the punchline to that joke is they're the ones who are the talk of the town right now.

Manifesting your own greatness begins with a goal. So spend some time with yourself to figure out what you "really" want to do with your life, then set some goals.

Greatness lives inside of you just like those Eagles and Chiefs players. The main difference between you and them is you maybe haven't put the work in to develop your talent yet. But you still have time!
