A note, $200 and photos: Records detail OnlyFans stalking case against Fishers swim coach

An Indiana high school swim coach is facing stalking allegations after police say he traveled to Wisconsin to deliver a note and to photograph an OnlyFans content creator.

An unidentified woman says she realized she was being stalked after receiving a handwritten note and $200 at her boyfriend's baseball game in Plover, Wisconsin, according to court records filed in Portage County Circuit Court. A man reportedly paid an 8-year-old boy $5 to deliver the note to the woman at the park May 15.

Police say the man's note thanked the woman for her time and said he hoped "his investment" gave her the life she deserves.

"P.S. I'll no longer pursue you here in person," the note said, according to court records. "You are safe and always were. I just had to see for myself."

The note was signed "love and respect MJP aka JP," records show.

The stalking allegations prompted an out-of-state warrant, leading to the arrest of Matthew Papachronis, 45, in connection with a felony stalking charge at his Hamilton County home.

Papachronis' attorney, Stephen W. Sawyer, encourages people not to jump to judgement.

"There are always two sides to every story, and you are only getting one side at this time," Sawyer cautioned. "There is much more to this situation than what is contained in the criminal complaint."

Sawyer said Papachronis may be a "victim of a scam" and while conducting his own investigation "and the charges resulted from his attempts at investigation."

In her OnlyFans messages the woman found photos of herself, her apartment and her boyfriend in the Village of Plover from an OnlyFans subscriber under the username "ChiGuy34."

"I was 10 feet away from you," ChiGuy34 wrote in reference to a photo of her at the baseball game, according to court records. In messages accusing the woman of cheating on him, ChiGuy34 identifies her boyfriend by name. Despite no response, the messages continued as of June 14, police say.

Police say surveillance footage shows a newer model white Toyota Camry following the couple on May 15. A vehicle of the same make and model was rented from Enterprise in Papachronis' wife's name for the duration of May 8-26, according to court documents.

Police say they have evidence that Papachronis created the ChiGuy34 account, including photos submitted of his face and driver's license. Messages include photos of his face and entire body, court records state. Police say cellphone tower data shows Papachronis in Wisconsin on May 14-15 and financial transactions from his account match up with the woman's OnlyFans transaction credits.

If convicted, Papachronis could be fined no more than $10K, or imprisoned for no more than three years and six months, or both, according to court records.

Coach no longer works for Hamilton Southeastern High School

Papachronis spent two coaching stints in the Hamilton South East School District, according to Emily Pace Abbotts, director of school and community relations. He returned in 2018 as an assistant swim coach for Hamilton Southeastern High School, but "his employment has since been terminated," Abbotts wrote in an email statement.

Abbotts said the district is aware of Papachronis' arrest, but did not specify when his employment was terminated. His name was last on a HSE roster last season, which ended in February.

Working with the Indy Infant Swimming Resource, Papachronis also taught water survival skills to infants from his private pool over the "last several years," according to a June CBS8 article.

The Indy Infant Swimming Resource is launching an internal investigation into Papachronis after recently learning of the allegations against him, per Ashleigh Bullivant, executive director of instructor support and development.

"We have taken immediate preliminary action and have suspended the license Mr. Papachronis holds with ISR, pending further investigation," Bullivant wrote in a statement.
