There’s nothing to do in El Paso: Texas Culinary Institute

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Karla Draxler and Ian Roth visited the Texas Culinary Institute on Friday, Jan. 26 as part of our morning show segment called “There’s Nothing to do in El Paso.”

The Texas Culinary Institute offers a selection of cooking courses that focus on “international, regional, and seasonal cuisnine,” according to their website.

The institute offers hands on classes for adults and children that “allows them to enjoy the creativity of cooking.”

“We have private events, we have couples classes, we have ladies nights, we have a lot of children classes as well. We have summer camps, spring break camps, and winter camp for the kids, and we also have baking classes, ” one of the instructors said.

The institute’s classes are three hours long, and attendees can expect to learn a three course menu. No experience is necessary and their classes are open to the public, according to their website.

The institute also has classes specifically for the month of February regarding the Valentine’s Day holiday.
