Nothing Is More Confusing Than Trying To Stream "RuPaul's Drag Race" — Here's How To Watch Every Season

Prance, my queens! Jump for joy! Do a death drop! Because RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars is back for another season!

VH1 / Via giphy.com

Lady Camden feels the hype.

And this time it's an all-winners season, which means my girl Raja better be taking home the crown or I'm going to have WORDS with Ru.

Yes. I was the one who called for an icon.

All Stars 7 airs May 20 only on Paramount+ for your viewing pleasure.

VH1 / Via giphy.com

Reigning winners Jaida Essence Hall, Jinkx Monsoon, Monet X Change, Raja, Shea Coulee, the Vivienne, Trinity the Tuck, and Yvie Oddly will all be competing.

But if you have ever attempted to stream the many franchises within the Drag Race universe, you know it is true hell trying to find where the varying seasons are.

VH1 / Via giphy.com

Feel free to scream.

Part of that is because the show was a very under-the-radar cable show airing on Logo when it began and has now evolved into a behemoth.

VH1 / Via giphy.com

The US franchise switched networks to VH1 during its run, and there have been several different handoffs in the CBS/Viacom/Paramount corporation, which also confuses things. And then of course, the international seasons are airing on channels not broadcast in the US. But even still, this seems needlessly complicated, and if I were Ru, I'd be trying to consolidate a bit.

Are all the seasons available in one place?

VH1 / Via giphy.com

Some of them aren't even available for video on demand, which is shocking.

But luckily for you all, I am a benevolent writer who has taken the time to compile this handy-dandy list of where to watch every single season of Drag Race in its many forms.

How to watch every single Drag Race season:

RuPaul's Drag Race:

VH1 / Via giphy.com

Let's start with that original recipe! The main franchise is available on the most streaming platforms, but the bad news is, there isn't one platform that has every season, so you're gonna have to hunt around if you want all 14 races for the crown. It is VERY strange to me that seasons 13 and 14 aren't available on Paramount+, when VH1 (the cable channel they aired on originally) is also owned by parent company Paramount Global, but I have a degree in English, so what do I know about entertainment contract law. Some are on Hulu. Some are on the VH1 website, which you can log into through a cable provider. None are on WOW Presents Plus (in the US), the streaming service created by World of Wonder, Drag Race's production company. Here are all the links for your viewing pleasure, though:

RuPaul's Drag Race: Untucked

VH1 / Via giphy.com

The plot thickens. Untucked is a supplemental show featuring extra content from the main show that they can't fit into the episode. Famously, if you're not watching Untucked, you're only getting half the story. However, also famously, if you're streaming, you might have to switch apps in order to get the half of the story you are missing. The show originally aired on Logo but then was bumped to YouTube for three seasons before it moved to VH1 with the main series, so this is pure chaos. AND to confuse matters even further, Drag Race Season 1's Untucked was called Under the Hood and is not available to stream anywhere. This means that in some places (like Paramount+ and VH1), the Untucked seasons are labeled one season ahead of the Drag Race season. Technically, the first season of Untucked was attached to the second season of Drag Race, if you follow. For the sake of clarity, however, I will be referring to each Untucked season by the number of its corresponding Drag Race season. Here are the links:

Season 1: Called Under the Hood and currently not available to stream anywhere.

RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars

Paramount+ / Via giphy.com

Seven seasons. Three different networks. If you thought this was gonna get any easier, think again. The spinoff franchise featuring returning queens from the main franchise originally aired on Logo for two seasons before making the jump to VH1 for Season 3. With the arrival of Paramount+, however, the series was moved exclusively to the streaming app. The new season, which will start this week, will have weekly installments there. Here are the links:

Season 1: Paramount+, Hulu, VOD

Season 2: Paramount+, Hulu, VOD

Season 3: Paramount+, Hulu, VOD

Season 4: Paramount+, Hulu, VOD

Season 5: Paramount+, VOD

Season 6: Paramount+, VOD

Season 7: Paramount+ beginning May 20.

RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars: Untucked

Logo / Via giphy.com

Like its counterpart, All Stars: Untucked has aired on three different networks. However, as All Stars has shifted its format, the need for the spinoff wasn't always necessary, so there are several All Stars seasons without an Untucked at all. This, yet again, leads to some wonky numbering of the seasons on Paramount+, but for clarity, I'll be listing them by their corresponding All Star season:

Season 1: VOD (labeled as Season 1)

Season 2: No Untucked

Season 3: No Untucked

Season 4: No Untucked

Season 5: Paramount+, VOD (both labeled as Season 2)

Season 6: Paramount+, VOD (both labeled as Season 3)

Season 7: Paramount+ beginning May 20 (will likely be labeled as Season 4)
