Notre Dame College hosting 5K run/walk to commemorate 100th year

Apr. 1—Notre Dame College is teaming up with a professional road running series to present a formal 5K in commemoration of its 100th year.

The Falcon Centennial 5k Race/1 Mile Walk takes place April 30 with a 9 a.m. start near the entrance to the College campus at 1857 S. Green Road in South Euclid. The event is open to the public, and each registered entrant receives a t-shirt and a Falcon Centennial Finisher medal, according to a news release.

Registration is available online now, and packet pickup information is forthcoming.

Runners and walkers receive a complimentary Mr. Chicken sandwich or tenders and a beer for those of age following the road race. The Notre Dame Falcons' Nest student union; patio outside; and grassy, shaded campus will be open for entrants, spectators and neighbors to relax and unwind, the release stated.
