Vienna Girl Among First Female Eagle Scouts In U.S.
A Vienna girl is joining the first female Eagle Scouts, the highest rank of the Scouts BSA program after girls became eligible to achieve the Eagle Scout rank in October. Katie Hunter, a Vienna resident, is expected to be among the first female Eagle Scouts inaugurated in February 2021.
Stafford Man Found Asleep Inside Truck Crashed In Roadside Ditch
A Stafford County Sheriff's deputy responded to an accident early Thursday morning where they found a pickup truck off the road inside some bushes in a ditch in an area of Route 1 and Eskimo Hill Road.
NoVA's Positive Average Of Coronavirus Tests Reaches New Low
On Monday, 854 new coronavirus cases were reported in Virginia, bringing the cumulative total to 159,570 cases. The positive average of PCR tests is at 4.5 percent statewide, and Northern Virginia reported its lowest average throughout the pandemic.

Homicide detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department are investigating five shooting incidents that took place over the weekend, which left five men and one women dead, according to multiple police releases.
Virginia ABC Suspends Alcohol Licenses At Purple Lounge
The Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Authority temporarily suspended the alcohol licenses of the Purple Ethiopian Restaurant and Lounge, LLC, after the Arlington eatery violated the terms of an agreement it had reached last month with the regulatory agency, according to an Arlington County release. The licenses were suspended for 10 days and reinstatement depends upon approval by Virginia ABC.
