Novant Health increasing minimum wage to $17, affecting 4,400 workers
Novant Health is raising its minimum wage in 2023, an increase that will impact more than 4,400 workers systemwide.
Novant, based in Winston-Salem, will increase its minimum wage from $15 to $17 per hour, effective March 3. The wage hike, combined with salary increases for team members, represents a $100 million investment.

This will be Novant’s fourth wage increase over the last six years.
Carl Armato, president and chief executive officer of Novant Health, said the ability to provide a living wage to all of its team members is and will continue to be a top priority.
