Novant Health job cuts include several high-level Charlotte executives

Novant Health confirmed Wednesday that several high-level executives in Charlotte are no longer with the North Carolina-based health-care system.

In an email on Wednesday afternoon, a Novant spokesperson said, “In a continued effort to prioritize our patients and support the team members who care for them, we made the difficult decision to scale back some departments across the organization, including our executive team.”

The spokesperson confirmed departing executives include Jesse Cureton, Novant Health’s executive vice president and chief consumer officer; Paula Dean Kranz, vice president, innovation enablement, and executive director, Novant Health Innovation Labs; and Angela Yochem, chief transformation and digital officer, chief operating officer and general manager of the enterprises division.
