Novant Health strikes $320M deal to buy Lake Norman Regional, Davis Regional hospitals
Novant Health is acquiring Lake Norman Regional Medical Center in Mooresville and Davis Regional Medical Center in Statesville from subsidiaries of Community Health Systems Inc.

The $320 million acquisition, which is subject to regulatory approvals, includes physician clinic operations and outpatient services owned by Franklin, Tennessee-based Community Health Systems.
“Our shared commitments to the community will continue to anchor our efforts and plans as we deliver exceptional, patient-centered experiences; protect safety and quality; improve community health; and promote equitable access to care,” said Carl Armato, president and CEO of Winston-Salem-based Novant Health, in a news release.
