Oct. 25—NORWALK — November events at the Norwalk Public Library:

The library will be closed on Nov. 11 in observance of Veterans Day and on Nov. 24 in observance of Thanksgiving.

Adult Craft Day on November 2nd at 11:00 am: Upcycle a hardcover book by folding the pages into turkey feathers. Registration begins Wednesday, October 12th.

Podcast 101 on November 2nd at 4:30 pm: For 4th through 8th grades. From planning to producing, learn all about podcasting as we record monthly episodes of NPL Talks. Registration begins Wednesday, October 12th.

StoryTime on November 3rd, November 10th, and November 17th at 11:00 am: For ages 0- 5. Listen to a selection of picture books and enjoy educational activities. Registration is not required.

Music & Movement on November 4th and November 18th at 11:00 am: For ages 2-5. Through song and dance, kids are encouraged to get silly and let that excess energy out. Registration is not required.

Open Lego Play on November 5th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm: For ages 5-12. Stop by to compete in a Lego town building challenge. Registration is not required.

Dinosaur Exploration on November 7th at 4:30 pm: For 3rd through 5th grades. Happy Dinovember! Make, excavate, and analyze your own fossils. Registration begins Monday, October 17th.

Nature Collages on November 8th at 4:30 pm: For 1st through 5th grades. Create a unique piece of art with supplies found in nature. Registration begins Tuesday, October 18th.

1A Anime on November 9th at 4:30 pm: For 6th through 9th grades. Practice sushi rolling techniques, watch SK8 the Infinity, and talk about the best anime/manga of the year. Registration begins Wednesday, October 19th.

Dungeons & Dragons Club on November 12th at 11:00 am: For 6th through 12th grades. Embark on an epic quest with fellow adventurers. No experience necessary. Although these events are part of an ongoing campaign, new players are always welcome.

Let's Discuss... Digital Borrowing on November 15th at 11:00 am: Unsure how to get started on the free reading apps Hoopla and Libby? Wondering how to download books for later? Let's discuss digital borrowing. Registration begins Tuesday, October 25th.

Tech Tuesday on November 22nd from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm: If you need one-on-one help with your ereader, laptop, phone, or tablet, schedule a Tech Tutor appointment or drop in on Tech Tuesday. Registration is not required.

Adult Craft Night on November 28th at 6:00 pm: Complete a winter-themed painting with the owner of Willow & Roxas, Sarah Brown. Registration begins Monday, November 7th.

What Is... The Best Book Club Ever on November 29th at 4:30 pm: For 4th through 8th grades. To participate in the Jeopardy-style trivia contest, read Zachary Ying and the Dragon Emperor by Xiran Jay Zhao and Dragons Love Tacos by Adam Rubin. Books are available in the Children's Room. Registration is not required.
