Hi, Indy foodies!
Micah Frank, the original chef-partner at the lauded Black Market restaurant, closed in 2020, is back in Indy for a bit, taking over the kitchen at The Inferno Room with a slew of new menu items. He’s going to start doing weekly pu pu platters blending iconic Hoosier and Asian-American bar bites and snacks. Up first: a plate incorporating a pork tenderloin fritter.
Speaking of beloved restaurants, starting Jan. 10, Tinker Street is expanding service to Monday – the first time in years. It has operated Tuesday through Saturday since it reopened for dine-in last year.
And ClusterTruck, the Indianapolis-based food delivery operation is expanding its breakfast menu at its downtown Indy and Broad Ripple delivery areas. New items include a biscuit and sausage gravy platter with fried egg and bacon; hot chicken and waffles; omelettes, sandwiches and huevos rancheros.
