When Magic Spoon launched its completely keto cereal (yes, healthy cereal exists!), people lost their minds. There's been Peanut Butter, Honey Nut, and now, there are two new summer flavors to try.

Please give a warm welcome to Strawberry and Peaches and Cream! The two fruity cereals clock in at 5 grams of net carbs, 11 grams of complete protein, and 110 calories. Plus, they contain nothing artificial—in fact, they have real freeze-dried pieces of fruit. You can get a four-pack online for $39, and you'd better do it fast: These seasonal flavors have historically sold out incredibly quickly.

ORIGINAL STORY: April 14, 2019

Keto cereal is usually a homemade sludge of seeds, nuts, and oil. It's not a bad thing, it's just a definite breakfast mood—and the only available option since store-bought boxes tend to be riddled with sugar, GMOs, and high carb counts. But the cereal lovers behind Magic Spoon weren't so quick to accept that sludge-filled fate like the rest of us. They tinkered away until they came up with four loop-shaped cereals that taste like knock-offs of your childhood favorites—just without all that bad stuff.

Magic Spoon comes in four flavors: Fruity, Cinnamon, Cocoa, and Frosted. All of them are made with a protein blend (milk protein isolate and whey protein isolate), coconut oil, tapioca flour, chicory root fiber, and a special sweetener blend of monk fruit, stevia, and allulose. According to the Magic Spoon, "Allulose is a 'rare' sugar found in things like figs and maple syrup. It tastes just like 'regular' sugar, but has zero glycemic impact and almost zero calories (less than 0.4 cal/g)." Then, depending on the flavor, there are other additions, like cocoa powder or vegetable juice.

The best part? They taste really, really good. Like, you wouldn't know they're healthy kinda good. And they are super healthy. Each serving has only 110 calories, 12 grams of protein, and only 3 grams of net carbs. Magic Spoon compared them to competitor cereals and the graphic is kind of mind-blowing. Traditional cereals are basically devoid of any protein and super high in carbs. Even something that's marketed as "healthy," like Special K, has only 7 grams of protein and 16 grabs of net carbs.
