You Can Now Stay in a (Grounded) Airplane, Thanks to Airbnb

Didn’t get a chance to snag your spot on the Goodyear blimp? Airbnb is offering the next best thing.

The company has put together a list of a handful of aircraft listings, including everything from a helicopter in the U.K. to a full-size plane in France. So if you’re feeling an international vacation coming on, consider booking one of these retrofitted crafts for your next adventure.

1. The Jet Star (Private Jet): Redberth, UK

Although built in the ’70s, this first-class plane still retains most of the original features. The crash-landed craft features half a bathroom (with a shower and running hot water), and even has an Xbox with some flight games in the cockpit. We’re serious.

Book it ($151 per night)

2. Army Westland Lynx: Lincolnshire, UK

Now situated at the old RAF Wainfleet base, this helicopter once served in Afghanistan (!) and features a sofa that converts to a bed, a TV and underfloor heating and a decking area.

Book it ($63 per night)

3. Plane Surrounded by Trees: Barjac, France

This unique rental sleeps up to five and comes with a sweet and savory breakfast buffet. The best part? WiFi connection and unlimited access in summer to the pool area are included.

Book it ($94 per night)

4. Arabian Nights "Airbus": Redberth, UK

Yup, this is a real Air Bus originally owned by Air Canada. With one bedroom and 1.5 baths, this bus even has a separate sheltered area for dining and an Apple TV. Talk about glamping.

Book it ($164 per night)
