You can now text ARod at all hours of the day — and J.Lo won’t get mad.

“867-5309.”

No, that’s not ARod’s number.

This is: 305-690-0485.

The retired New York Yankees player is giving out his digits. Not for a good time, like the title of old Tommy Tutone song, but to connect with fans. Oh, and to promote his CNBC athlete-focused show, “Back in the Game.”

“Let’s talk baseball or business,” he tweeted earlier this month.

So we did what he asked (first we called, but a recording said the mailbox was full).

We sent a message that said, “Hey Alex!” and within one second an apparently automated response shot back.

“Hey it’s Alex,” read the text with a strong emoji of a bicep. “Incredibly excited to get in touch with you! I always look for the best ways to make genuine connections with people.”

The 44-year-old baller then asks you to click on a link to tell him more about yourself. The form that follows asks for personal info, which includes your birth date and the gender with which you associate.

Once that bit is complete, ARod’s contact with a picture of him in a nice suit will appear in your contacts and you will look cool at the bar tonight.

Pro tip: Don’t text the divorced father of two if you get lonely. He has J.Lo for that.

Rodriguez’s fans seem to be curious and are likely phoning the guy like crazy. Check out some of the replies to his tweet:

“Waiting for my new best friend to answer.”

“Haha how I would love to see what nonsense everyone is sending you.”

“Pretty sure his team is running this. Happy nonetheless.”
