Having a balcony to go out onto every night, is every girl's dream-and Velux has made it possible. The company has just released a window that can be converted into a balcony in a matter of seconds!
The Velux Cabrio Balcony can be added to any skylight, opening it into a spot for lounging al fresco. In order to turn your window into a balcony you will have to get the Cabrio installed, which will cost around $5,350-$5,950 for a new skylight and $4,450-$4,850 for a replacement skylight. But that's a small price to pay for an added miniature terrace, right?
Plus, the interior of the window has a beautiful pine finish that comes with a clear water-based lacquer, to ensure that the wood is protected against any dirt and moisture.
All of the Velux windows come with a gray aluminum cover for the exterior. But if gray aluminum isn't your style, don't worry, you can choose from: copper, titanium, zinc, and colored aluminum.
