Now you can watch the Christmas movie that was filmed in LaGrange. Here’s where

Remember the Christmas movie that was filmed in LaGrange last year?

Now you can watch it.

A Perfect Christmas Pairing,” a holiday romance starring Ansley Gordon (“Crazy Ex-Girl Friend,” “The Abigail Mysteries”) and Chris Connell (“All My Children,” “500 Days of Summer”), is streaming on Freevee, Peacock, Pluto TV and Roku. It’s also available for rent/buy on Prime Video.

Gordon plays the top chef at an upscale restaurant receiving rave reviews and nearing a Michelin star rating when a bad review from a renowned critic rocks her world.

So she takes a Christmas vacation to see her family at their winery and bed & breakfast, where she meets a travel writer, played by Connell. Sparks fly as he helps her reconnect with her roots.

The movie’s 151 reviews on IMDb average 5.2 on the 10-point scale.

Produced by Los Angeles-based Nicely Entertainment, the movie is directed by Dave Thomas (“The West Wing,” “The Young and the Restless”) and written by Jenna Brister (“The Perfect Wedding Match,” “Killer Twin”).

Local places depicted in the movie include Nutwood Winery, Pretty Good Books and Emberglow.

The folks at Visit LaGrange say this about the movie on their website:

“Producers were so enamored by the city that they chose to keep the name as LaGrange in the film’s script! Filming was seemingly non-stop throughout downtown, and local businesses decorated for Christmas a few months early to make the town feel like a winter wonderland.”

LaGrange Mayor Willie Edmondson told the Ledger-Enquirer in a text message Tuesday, “We are truly grateful & excited to see our wonderful city featured as the setting (for the movie). … We are thankful to the Liechty Family who were instrumental in bringing the film crew in town. We already knew we were the best hidden secret in Georgia to celebrate Christmas. Now many more people will get to see our beautiful city.”
