Number of people killed and injured in Russian shelling of Kharkiv has risen

The number of people killed as a result of Russia’s shelling of Kharkiv this morning has risen to three. 23 people have been injured.

Quote: "It has been established that at 09:30 on 21 July, the occupiers fired, presumably using Uragan multiple rocket launchers, on a public transport stop near the market in the Kyiv district of Kharkiv. Three civilians were killed and twenty more were injured.

In addition, the Russian military carried out artillery shelling on the Saltivka district of Kharkiv. They hit a residential building. Three civilians were injured."

Details: Law enforcement officers have started a pre-trial investigation into this instance of violating the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder.

 

The police, together with the prosecutor's office, are documenting this latest war crime committed by the Russian Federation.

Ihor Terekhov, the Mayor of Kharkiv, said that on the morning of 21 July, the Russians shelled one of the most densely populated areas of the city.

Serhii Bolvinov, the head of the Investigative Department of the Kharkiv Oblast Police, said that an employee of the patrol police is among those injured.

According to Bolvinov, the shelling is thought to have been carried out using Uragan MLRSs and cluster shells.
