Nurish bills itself as "a vegetarian- and vegan-friendly café with sustainable meat options — providing flavorful, nutritious, often organic and affordable cuisine for Brooklyn and all," according to its website. The counter-service cafe serves a full menu of health-conscious eats, such as wraps with hummus and veggies, all-day breakfast options (sweet and savory), and build-your-own salads and grain bowls, topped with proteins like salmon, grilled chicken, turkey bacon and tofu. The eatery also offers juices, smoothies, shakes and espresso and tea drinks.
The new business has garnered rave reviews thus far, with a five-star rating out of 13 reviews on Yelp.
Tresha W., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Nov. 18, wrote, "Everything I ever want from a grain bowl, I can get it here. Also, the team here is great and friendly."
Yelper Luz A. noted, "Had a peanut butter shake last week. Could not stop craving it! Had to come back and buy two. Incredible service, as well."
