Jensen Huang, the billionaire CEO of chipmaking giant Nvidia, opted for an authentic culinary experience during his recent business trip to Vietnam, indulging in the diverse street food offerings of Hanoi.
Culinary adventure: Images emerged on social media this week showing Huang, who has a reported net worth of $41.5 billion, embracing the vibrant street food culture of Hanoi while dressed casually in a T-shirt and black jeans.
On Dec. 11, Huang, who is Taiwanese American, reportedly interacted with locals while enjoying a variety of local dishes, including snails, rolls, beef noodle soup (pho bo) and the renowned egg coffee at Café Giang.

Man of the people: Hoang Anh Tuan, a diplomat and part of the delegation that accompanied Huang during the trip, expressed his admiration for the entrepreneur.
"Skipping luxury dinner parties at high-end hotels and restaurants, Huang chose street food dishes with flavors and experiences that are hard to be found anywhere else," he was quoted saying.
Huang was also later spotted engaging with the local gaming community at LAN parties and contributing prize money to esports events.

Business engagements: Huang had earlier visited with Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Dec. 10 before meeting local tech company leaders and authorities at the National Innovation Center in Hoa Lac to discuss cooperation deals on semiconductors the following day.
Nvidia, which has remarkably captured nearly 30% of the chip design industry’s global market share, previously invested $250 million in Vietnam.
The Vietnamese government later revealed in a statement that Nvidia plans to further increase its presence in the country by setting up a base of operations aimed at boosting the nation’s semiconductor industry.
