Organized in 1973, the O’Fallon Booster Club has promoted and organized youth and team sports activities in town during the past 50 years. They also raise funds for the O’Fallon Food Pantry. “They are 100% volunteers. They don’t ask for a lot of praise. They do things quietly, efficiently and give a lot to this community, especially our youth,” Mayor Herb Roach said. Monsignor Willliam “Father Bill” Hitpas retired from serving as the first and only pastor at St. Nicholas Church in O’Fallon for 41 years, after the Belleville Diocese established the new parish in 1982.
