His parents are Knoxville residents Whitney Kleyh and Andrew Bereczky, according to MMC information. He'll have no shortage of playmates as he'll join two brothers and a sister in the family: Adrian, 11, Allison, 9 and Alex, 6.

Atlas was delivered by Michele Tate, Methodist Medical Center obstetrician and gynecologist.

Although Atlas was the name of a Titan in Greek mythology, this modern-day, real-life Atlas is a good-sized chap but no giant. At birth, he weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces, and was 20 inches long.

In honor of his 2023 New Year’s Baby status, the family received a celebratory gift basket from Methodist Medical Center and its parent company, Covenant Health. The gift basket contained an assortment of baby care items including a baby monitor, bath water temperature gauge, shampoo and terrycloth towel, hats, blankets, bibs and a keepsake book to record Atlas' early milestones.
