Obi-Wan Kenobi star on line that had to be cut for hilarious reason

Obi-Wan Kenobi star Indira Varma has revealed that a certain line had to be cut from the Disney+ miniseries as she and Ewan McGregor couldn't stop laughing while filming the scene.
Varma starred alongside McGregor's Obi-Wan as Tala Durith, an Imperial officer who helps resistance fighters and is an ally to Obi-Wan throughout the story. Varma explained at Star Wars Celebration that during one scene in a cave, Varma and McGregor couldn't control their giggles, leading to a line being cut.
"We were in a cave and everything was going wrong. And I think this line might have been cut but I had to run in and say: 'There’s half a battalion out there,'" Varma said.

"I was saying the line right but in my head it sounded like I was saying: 'We’ve got to sort this out, there’s half an Italian out there.' We just could not keep a straight face."
McGregor agreed, saying about his co-star: "She’s very, very, very funny to work with, we had such a laugh. She got me into such trouble all the time for giggling and stuff. We had to stop many takes for laughing."

Star Wars Celebration brought a lot of surprise and exciting announcements for fans, including a trio of new movies being announced, plus the casting of Thrawn, a trailer for Ahsoka, and a return to a galaxy far, far away for David Tennant.
Meanwhile, The Mandalorian creator Jon Favreau opened up (slightly) about the possibility of Grogu being featured in these newly announced movies.
"I don't know what I can talk about yet," Favreau said. "But certainly everything is being discussed."
Obi-Wan Kenobi is streaming on Disney+. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and the entire Skywalker Saga are available on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K now, as well as on Disney+.
