Object Seen Over Colombia as Pentagon Investigates Reports of Possible Second Chinese Balloon
Pentagon press secretary General Pat Ryder told reporters that officials were “seeing reports of a balloon transiting Latin America” and were working to determine if the craft was “another Chinese surveillance balloon” on Friday, February 3.
The Pentagon confirmed on February 3 that a Chinese high-altitude surveillance balloon was crossing above the United States.
Video posted by Carlos Pineda on Friday, which he said was captured through his telescope from Valledupar, Colombia, shows a large, round white object in the sky.
