Ocala/Marion County restaurant specials and deals for veterans on Veterans Day

Many local restaurants are offering specials for military veterans and active duty service members on Veterans Day (Nov. 11, which this year is Thursday.)

Check locations for details, since some locations may not be participating or may have different guidelines. Information comes from Militarybenefits.info, military.com and restaurant websites.

*Beef O'Brady's: Free meal for veterans with a purchase of equal or greater value up to $10 on Nov. 11.

*Bob Evans: Veterans and active duty service members get a free dine-in only meal on Nov. 11 from a special menu.

*Breakfast Station Ocala: Veterans have free breakfast on Nov. 11 with purchase of a beverage.

*Chili's: Veterans and active duty service members get a free dine-in meal on Nov. 11 from a special menu.

*Cracker Barrell: On Nov. 11, veterans get a free slice of double fudge Coca-Cola cake with their meal.

*Denny's: Active, non-active or retired military personnel can get a free "build-your-own grand slam breakfast" 5 a.m.-noon on Nov. 11. Participating stores only. Must show ID.

*Dunkin' Donuts: Free doughnut on Nov. 11; in-store only; participating locations.

*Golden Corral: Military Appreciation Night, 5 p.m. to closing on Nov. 11. Free dine-in meal.

*Hooters: At participating Hooters, veterans (must show ID) will receive a free entrée from a special menu with the purchase of a drink.

*IHOP: Veterans and active duty service members get free red-white-and-blueberry pancakes on Nov. 11; dine-in only.

*Little Caesar's: 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Nov. 11, veterans and active military members get free lunch combo (pizza slices and drink.)

*Miller's Ale House: Veterans and active duty service members get 50% off on Nov. 11. This special does not cover alcoholic beverages, gift cards, tax, or gratuity. Dine-in only.

*Outback Steakhouse: On Nov. 11, military veterans and active service members get a free bloomin’ onion and Coca-Cola.

*Red Lobster: Veterans and active duty service members get free appetizer or dessert on Nov. 11; dine-in only. ID required.

*Silver Springs Pizza: On Nov. 11, all veterans and current service members receive a free meal (spaghetti and meatballs or two pizza slices and a beer.)

*Sonny's BBQ: Free "big pork deal" for veterans and active duty service members on Nov. 11.

*Starbucks: On Nov. 11, active-duty service members, reservists, veterans, and military spouses get a free 12-ounce hot brewed coffee.

*Todd and Shelly's Farm Fresh Cafe & Pub in Belleview: Between 7 and 9 a.m. on Nov. 11, all active and past service members get free half order of biscuits and gravy with purchase of a beverage.

*Wawa: On Nov. 11, veterans, active duty, and family members get a free cup of coffee.

*Wendy's: Veterans and active duty service members get free breakfast combo on Nov. 11 at participating locations from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m.
