Occupiers attack Kharkiv, hit an apartment building and a public transport stop

Russian occupiers hit the Saltivka neighbourhood of Kharkiv; five people are injured, two of whom are in serious condition, and one person was treated on the spot.

Quote from Terekhov after the initial attack: "Attack on the Saltivka neighbourhood. Two injured. Once again near a public transport stop."

Details: Terekhov subsequently reported that a nine-storey building took damage in the same Saltivka neighbourhood. The roof was hit, initially without casualties. A garage complex is on fire.

Later, the mayor reported on a third attack, in which cars were hit, glass was broken in a house, and a children's playground was damaged. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.

However, according to Terekhov, the number of the injured has now increased to five people.

Quote from Terekhov: "As a result of the morning attack, five residents of Kharkiv have been injured. All of them have been hospitalised, and doctors are treating them."

Oleh Syniehubov, the head of Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration, said that four people are currently hospitalised, two of whom are in serious condition. One person was treated on the spot.

According to Serhii Bolvinov, the head of the Investigation Department of the Main Department of National Police in Kharkiv Oblast, one of the women died in hospital after being wounded during the attack.

Background: On the night of 14 August, Russian forces hit a building in an industrial facility in Kharkiv, damaged an infrastructure facility and an industrial plant in Merefa, and carried out an attack on Chuhuiv.
