Occupiers forcibly issue "citizenship of the Russian Federation" to newborns in Kherson

The occupying "authorities" of Kherson Oblast have announced that all children born in the region after 24 February will automatically receive Russian citizenship.

Details: All children born in Kherson Oblast after 24 February will automatically receive Russian citizenship.

According to Stremousov, orphaned children have already received Russian citizenship.

He asserts that there is a "feverish demand" for Russian passports in the oblast  and that people are "standing in huge queues".

The collaborator also states that more than 10,000 applications for Russian citizenship have supposedly been submitted in the oblast.

Background: On the first day of Russian passports being distributed, they were taken by only 23 people throughout the whole of Kherson, including the collaborator and former mayor of the city, Volodymyr Salso.
