Occupiers launch massive offensive actions on Avdiivka and Maryinka fronts

The enemy used armored vehicles to initiate massive offensive actions on the Avdiivka and Maryinka fronts two days ago, Tavria group commander, Brig. Gen. Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, reported on Telegram, on Dec. 12.

The enemy is actively using aviation and guided air bombs, with 19 air strikes in two days, he announced.

“The [Russian] assault continues,” said Tarnavskyi. “Our warriors are holding the defense firmly.”

Yesterday, 42 enemy attacks were repelled east of Novobakhmutivka, south of Severne and Tonenke, and in the areas of Avdiivka, Pervomaisk, and Nevelsk, Tarnavskyi said.

The day before, 49 attacks were repelled, and 11 Russian tanks and 15 other armored vehicles were destroyed on the Avdiivka front.  Near Avdiivka, the occupiers are attempting to advance both in the north and south.

The enemy is also active in the areas of Maryinka, Krasnohorivka, and Novomykhailivka, where 14 attacks were repelled by Ukrainian defense forces last day.

The defense forces repelled three enemy attacks on the Zaporizhzhya front south of Novodarivka and west of Novopokrovka, the day before yesterday, said Tarnavskyi.

Ukrainian warriors continue to actively inflict losses on the occupying forces in manpower and equipment on the Melitopol front.

The enemy lost 430 soldiers in the last day.

Seven military vehicles were destroyed, including three tanks, two armored combat vehicles, and one specialized vehicle.
