OCEAN CITY, NJ — Here are the latest coronavirus updates around Ocean City and Cape May County.

Cases

The Cape May County Health Department reported the following in Ocean City as of Friday—figures from Ocean City Patch's last update Nov. 27 are in parenthesis.

  • community resident active cases: 73 (71)

  • community residents cleared off quarantine: 269 (168)

  • community deaths: zero (two)

  • nonresident active cases: zero (zero)

  • longterm-care active cases: 14 (30)

  • longterm-care cleared off quarantine: 39 (six)

  • longterm-care deaths: zero (four)

The CMCHD reported the following county-wide numbers as of Friday—Nov. 27 figures in parenthesis:

  • community resident active cases: 512 (437)

  • community residents cleared off quarantine: 1,266 (1,532)

  • community deaths: 42 (35)

  • nonresident active cases: 21 (12)

  • longterm-care active cases: 32 (35)

  • longterm-care cleared off quarantine: 242 (203)

  • longterm-care deaths: 69 (64)
