Country crooner and Ocean City native Jimmy Charles is back this week with the official video for his anthem "It's a Maryland Thing, You Wouldn't Understand," because as he sings, "Free State folks have so much pride."

The video opens, of course, with Charles singing while riding in a jeep across the beach, and contains plenty of Shore-friendly lyrics like "watch an osprey fly across an Assateague sky."

The video was shot at various spots in Ocean City, on Assateague Island, at the Capitol building and Naval Academy in Annapolis, at the Inner Harbor, the Baltimore Orioles' Camden Yards and Baltimore Ravens' M&T Bank Stadium, and Federal Hill in Baltimore, and other locations across the state. It also pays tribute to the Maryland State Police's Trooper 4 helicopter.
