Oceanside International Film Festival Is Back In Person

OCEANSIDE, CA — The Oceanside International Film Festival has announced the line-up for this year's event, which will mark the 11th OIFF. Tickets went on sale this week and film lovers are encouraged to purchase before the popular event sells out.

The Festival brings films from around the world across dozens of genres to the heart of the Oceanside California Cultural District. Experience films from all corners of the globe that include documentaries, narratives, drama, cause-related films, surf and skate, the human experience, comedy, horror, animated, environmental, and more.

The Oceanside International Film Festival brought to you by Visit Oceanside, returns to the Brooks Theatre on February 22nd running through February 27th. Tickets are on sale now for all the events Wednesday, February 23rd through the closing Awards Ceremony on Sunday the 27th. Tickets are available at www.osidefilm.org!!

See the full schedule of films on OSidefilm.org where you can purchase Day Passes and Festival Passes. The Opening Night Celebration for Tuesday February 22nd has not gone on sale yet. The special Opening Night celebration details are still coming together and the Very Limited Seats available for Opening Night will go on sale soon.
The festival tickets on sale right now are Day Passes which give the attendee access to all the film blocks for that day. Day Passes are on $15 for Wed, Thursday, Friday and Sunday giving access to all films on a particular day/night.
You may also purchase Festival Passes. The limited Festival Pass is a pass that allows you access to all the film blocks Wednesday through Sunday. The Festival Pass is one price for access to multiple days but there are a limited number of these special passes available. The Festival Pass does not give access to the special events which are Tuesdays Opening Night and the Sunday closing Awards Ceremony.

  • Tuesday (4:30p-10p) – Opening Night Special Event! TBA – On Sale Soon.

  • Wednesday (5p-10p) - Extraordinary People (shorts block); The Whale of Lorino (selected feature film); Our Sustainable Planet (shorts block).

  • Thursday (5p-10p) - Thrills + Kills (horror shorts block); Human Resources (selected feature).

  • Friday (5p-10p) – The Seekers (shorts block) Local Films block, Sign Man (selected feature)

  • Saturday (10:30a – 10p) - Make a Change (shorts and feature); Family Dynamics (shorts block); The Art Block (shorts block) Special Presentation and Panel Discussion 6pm “Gianni Berengo Gardin’s “Take of Two Cities”; Skate and Surf block (6:50p-10p)

  • Sunday (11:30a-7p) - I Am Here (film program of shorts), Retrograde (a block of shorts and a selected feature) 5pm OIFF 2022 Awards Ceremony (separate ticket)

The Oceanside International Film Festival is an annual event set in the heart of the Oceanside California Cultural District with a goal to grow into an international destination for artists, connoisseurs, and industry professionals, bringing attention to our community, culture, creativity, and the art of Oceanside, California.

At this time the festival is planned to be In Person at the Brooks Theatre in Oceanside at 217 N. Coast Hwy. Oceanside CA. 92054. We will be following the current California and CDC guidelines. Proof of vaccination or negative covid test within 72hrs will be required.

We plan for all patrons and staff to be masked indoors at all times and in the theatre except for Q&A participants may be unmasked for clarity.

Founded by the Oceanside Cultural Arts Foundation in 2009, the Oceanside International Film Festival is now a standalone 501c3 dedicated to providing annual opportunity for independent filmmakers from around the world to have their work competitively screened and juried.
