One restaurant receives 19 violations

King Buffet of Pensacola, 3 W. Nine Mile Road, Suite 2, Pensacola

In an Oct. 12 visit from the DBPR, King Buffet of Pensacola received a series of violations, seven of the violations were labeled as high priority. Some of these offenses included the observation of flying insects in the dish washing area, raw animal foods not being separated from each other and dish machine chlorine sanitizer not being at the proper strength. A follow-up inspection was completed on Oct. 27 where the restaurant met inspection standards and corrected most of the problems listed, however, still had four violations marked against them.

Two receive administrative complaints

Domino’s Pizza, 1933 Ortega St., Navarre

In an Oct. 5 visit from the DBPR, Domino’s Pizza received an administrative complaint with two violations, including sewage wastewater backing up through the floor drains and a food utensil that was improperly stored. The report stated that the sewage back up was caused by a plumber working to fix the toilet. The back-up was immediately stopped, the plumber corrected the back-up and the area was cleaned and sanitized. A follow-up inspection is still required.

Domino’s Pizza, 9100 W. U.S. Highway 98, Pensacola

In an Oct. 24 visit from the DBPR, Domino’s Pizza received an administrative complaint with two violations, including the observation of about 20 live flying insects in the mop-sink area and utensils not being properly air-dried. The restaurant complied with a follow-up inspection on Oct. 26.
