Odesa and Mykolaiv attacked by kamikaze drones

Russian forces’ kamikaze drones attacked Odesa and Mykolaiv. An infrastructure facility was hit in Mykolaiv Oblast.

Details: Tymoshenko reported that three UAVs were shot down by Ukrainian air defence over the sea in the immediate vicinity of Odesa.

"There are still enemy drones in the sky. Combat work is underway," he noted.

In the Mykolaiv region, there was a UAV strike in the city and an infrastructure facility was hit. Rescue workers and emergency services are working on site.

Later on, Oleksandr Sienkevych, Mayor of Mykolaiv, reported that the drone hit a building in central Mykolaiv.

"There was a drone strike on a building in the centre of the city. All relevant services are at work [on the scene]," he wrote on Telegram.

Meanwhile, Vitalii Kim, Head of the Mykolaiv Oblast Military Administration, said that explosions shook the area between Pivdennoukrainsk and Voznesensk.

"One Shahed[-136 drone] damaged a building in the [city] centre. One Shahed[-136] hit infrastructure. The SES [State Emergency Service of Ukraine] is at work [on the scene]. As of now, there are no casualties or fatalities," Kim reported.
