ODOT projects for the week: What is closed and what are the detours?

CHILLICOTHE - The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Ross and Pike counties this week. All outlined work is weather permitting. Projects with active or future traffic impacts are linked to OHGO.com

NEW

Ohio 327 Bridge Replacement - Work is set to begin on July 10 for a bridge replacement on Ohio 327 between Londonderry and Blue Lick Road. Ohio 327 will be closed for 60 days for this construction. During the closure traffic will be detoured via Ohio 671 and U.S. 50. Estimated completion: Summer 2023

Ohio 41 Culvert Replacement - Work is set to begin on July 17 for a culvert replacement on Ohio 41 between Frost Road and Dry Bone Road. Ohio 41 will be closed daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for three days for this construction. During the closure traffic will be detoured via Ohio 753 and U.S. 50. Estimated completion: By 5 p.m. July 19.

ONGOING

Ohio 138 Resurfacing - Work has begun as of May 30 on a resurfacing project on Ohio 138 between U.S. 35 and the village of Clarksburg. The project will include resurfacing of S.R. 207 and installation of curb ramps within the village of Clarksburg. The project includes maintenance work on the overpass bridge on Ohio 138 at the U.S. 35 interchange. Ohio 138 is reduced to one lane maintained with temporary signals at the bridge. Ohio 138 will be reduced to one lane daily from 7 AM - 5 PM, Mon - Fri. Traffic will be maintained using flaggers. Estimated completion: Fall 2023

Tar Hollow Forestry Road 10 & 16 Culvert Replacements - Work has begun as of May 15 for a culvert replacement project in Tar Hollow State Forest on F.R. 10 from campground to South Ridge Street and F.R. 16 from Charleston Pike to North Ridge Road. Both roads will be closed for this construction. Estimated completion: Summer 2023

Ohio 772 Resurfacing -Work has begun as of May 10 for a resurfacing project between Blain Highway and Bishop Hill Road. This project will also include bridge repairs and maintenance at the intersection of Ohio 772 and Grubb Road. During construction traffic on Ohio 772 will be maintained in one lane using flaggers and temporary traffic signals. Starting May 17 Grubb Road is closed for 45 days as part of this construction. During the closure, Grubb Road traffic will be detoured via Bishop Hill Road and Ohio 772. Estimated completion: Summer 2023

Ohio 41 & U.S. 50 Resurfacing - Work has begun as of May 8 for a resurfacing project on Ohio 41 between Lapperell Road and U.S. 50, as well as on U.S. 50 between the village of Bainbridge and Lower Twin Road. Work will occur daily between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., Monday - Friday. During construction traffic will be maintained in one lane using flaggers. Estimated completion: Summer 2023

U.S. 23 Weigh Station Conversion - Work has begun as of April 3 for a project to convert the decommissioned weigh stations on U.S. 23 north of U.S. 35 for truck parking facilities. Traffic impacts to U.S. 23 will be minimal but may include short-term lane closures and shoulder closures for moving equipment and materials to and from the site. Estimated completion: Summer 2023

Ohio 138 Bridge Replacement - Work has begun as of March 1 on a bridge replacement project on Ohio 138 between Austin Road and Mallow Road. During construction traffic will be maintained using concrete barrier wall and temporary traffic signals. Initial work for temporary pavement widening will be performed using flaggers. Estimated completion: Summer 2023

Ohio 104 Slide Repair - Work has begun as of July 6 for a slide repair on Ohio 104 between Ohio 32 and Boswell Run Road. Ohio 104 will be closed for 30 days for this construction. During the closure traffic will be detoured via S.R. 32 and U.S. 23. Estimated completion: By 5 p.m. Aug. 4.

Adams Road Bridge Replacement - Work has begun as of March 20 for a bridge replacement project on Adams Road at the intersection with Red Hollow Road. Adams Road will be closed for the duration of the project. During the closure traffic will be detoured via Red Hollow Road, Ohio 32, and Ohio 335. Estimated completion: Summer 2023

U.S. 23 Resurfacing - Work has begun as of March 27 for a resurfacing project on U.S. 23 between Wakefield Mound Road and the village of Piketon. At least one lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction on U.S. 23 throughout construction. Additional impacts may include shoulder closures and shifted travel lanes. Estimated completion: Summer 2023

Ohio 104/220/551 Resurfacing - Work has begun as of March 27 for a project that will resurface sections of Ohio 104, Ohio 220, and Ohio 551. For all locations, work will occur daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday - Saturday. Traffic will be maintained in one lane throughout construction using flaggers.

Watson Road Slide Repair - Work has begun as of Feb. 6 for a slide repair project on Watson Road between Mutton Run Road and the Ross County line. One lane of traffic is being maintained during construction. Estimated completion: Summer 2023
