In their first game in over 19 days, ODU (3-2) had a five-point lead at the end of the third quarter, but were outscored 24-12 in the fourth by the Panthers (4-3).

Aziah Hudson had 16 points for the Monarchs while Kyla Nelson led FIU with a season-high 25, including four consecutive points at the free-throw line in the final seconds to help seal the win for the Panthers.

ODU will face FIU at 2 p.m. Saturday in another C-USA match-up.
