Officer involved in crash while pursuing suspect at I-40, Danny Thomas

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Memphis Police officer was involved in a crash Saturday at Danny Thomas and Interstate 40, as officers pursued a suspect.

MPD said officers were pursuing a suspect who was responsible for several robberies.

As they exited I-40 onto Danny Thomas just after 4 p.m., there was a crash.

No one, including the officer, was injured, MPD said. One subject was in custody.
