  • The first pieces of Starbucks' Halloween merchandise has finally landed in stores, including the infamous glow-in-the-dark cold cup, which features a spiderweb design.

  • More Halloween merchandise is expected to drop throughout September and October.

  • We'll update this story with sneak peeks for new Halloween cups as more information becomes available.

They're here! The first pieces of Starbucks' new Halloween merchandise collection have finally started to pop up in cafés and Target retail locations across the country. After becoming a monstrous success (see what we did there?!) last year, the coffee giant brought back its beloved glow-in-the-dark cold cups for another spooky Halloween season, much to the gloomy glee of adoring fans.

The new Halloween-themed pieces are part of a larger new collection of mugs, cold cups, tumblers and water bottles released for the Fall 2021 season. Eagle-eyed collectors have already spotted a few variations of Starbucks' classic merchandise themed to autumnal motifs; including a purple-tinted Kaleidoscope cup, a few different embellished cold cups, a new vibrant neon green textured cup and a whole slew of new mugs.

If you're like us and crept your way through social media channels, you'll know that as many as 25 pieces of merchandise are slowly rolling out nationwide this month. The delayed release of these Halloween pieces is better timed to the official start of fall this upcoming Wednesday, September 22.

The clear favorite so far for many fans is the glow-in-the-dark spider-web adorned cold cup, which has been spotted in both 16oz Grande and 24oz Venti size variations. Resellers on platforms like Etsy have already marked up the cups' price (they usually retail starting at $15 USD) with fans snatching them up online.

While we have yet to be able to confirm whether these glow in the dark, Starbucks has also released a new Halloween cold cup featuring a delightfully eerie black cat figure. It seems to exist as a Venti-sized option — but if you're hoping to get your hands on a Halloween exclusive that isn't a traditional iced coffee tumbler, there's also a glow-in-the-dark water bottle as well.

They've yet to be spotted, but some fans are expecting another full set of reusable hot coffee cups from Starbucks this fall. This special set may contain up to six cups featuring Halloween designs, but it's unclear when they'll drop just yet. We'll update this post with more information and a sneak peek of these new cups when available.

Starbucks' Halloween collection is known by collectors to be notoriously hard to snag given their popularity. If you're on the hunt for a glow-in-the-dark cup to add to your collection, your best bet may be to start at a local Target retail location, as it's known that Starbucks' merchandise (including Target exclusives) often land here first. Happy shopping!
