Officials approve reports, resolution

County Commissioners approved various reports and other routine items during their weekly meeting in the courthouse on Monday.

Among other things, commissioners approved a letter of notification that the county intends to submit an opioid abatement application.

Also, commissions approved a resolution authorizing application for financial assistance from the Rural Economic Action Fund for a command truck for the Sharon Fire Department. District 2 Commissioner Clint White noted the Sharon department will use $23,400 in local funds as a match for the grant. Overall the truck will cost $75,000.

Also, commissioners approved an affidavit of completion for a new brush truck for the Sharon Fire Department. The truck has been completed and will be on display at the department's upcoming fundraiser.

Other items approved included: — Payroll — Court clerk records management and preservation monthly report in amount of $67,290.84. — Officer reports — Court clerk balance summary report — Transfer of funds from Fair-2 M&O into District 3 M&O in the amount of $249.75 for fuel reimbursement. — Purchase orders — Allocation of alcoholic beverage tax certified through Oct. 11 in amount of $20,826.55

Fort Supply Fire Department — Requisition: Michael Pettey, Jonna Schmidt. Receiving: Jonathan Murray, Kenton Love

Mooreland Fire Department — Requisition: Travis Case, Jonna Schmidt. Receiving: Jerrod Brittain, Jeremiah Moore

Sharon Fire Department — Requisition: Joey Wilson, Jonna Schmidt. Receiving: Jason Nail, Dakota Lamberth

Fire Department Capitol — Requisition: Michael Wickware, Jonna Schmidt. Receiving: Melissa Hobbs, Kevin Mitchell

Woodward Fire Department — Requisition: Michael Wickware, Jonna Schmidt. Receiving: Melissa Hobbs, Johnny Edwards

Commissioners meet each Monday at 10 a.m. in the civil defense room at the courthouse.

A few notes from the Oct. 10 commission meeting.

Commissioners approved an OMMA certificate of compliance for Ventures, LLC.

They also approved the cash fund estimate of needs and maximum monthly expenditures for September, purchase orders, officer reports and OSU Extension requisition agent Melanie Matt and receiving agents Maurice Stoll and Cindy Charboneau.

Also approved was county treasure report, and transfer of appropriations to cover supplies for fire expenses.

Commissioners also held a brief discussion on courthouse security.
